Lighting Sales Engineer

As a Lighting Sales Engineer you will audit, design and develop proposals, present to customers, and close sales for our Engineering Department.  We are seeking a highly organized candidate to join a fast paced, energy services provider that specializes in providing Lighting Upgrades to its customers across many vertical markets.
A Lighting Sales Engineer will:
  • Have a Strong attention to detail
  • Have Impeccable Data Entry Skills
  • Possess Expert-Level fluency in MS Excel and MS Office
  • Conduct on-site energy audits and Calculate Energy Savings
  • Perform Engineering Development and Design Experience
  • Select Products and Identify Measures to fit the needs of the customers
  • Provide accurate Pricing Quotes for proposals
  • Prepare and present proposals to customer
  • Be able to explain the features and benefits of the proposed measures
  • Maintain client communication and deliver superior customer service
  • Secure necessary documents and information from customers
  • Update and maintain all systems required
  • Report directly to the Sales Engineering Manager
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
  • Availability to travel when necessary (Estimated 20%-40% travel)
  • Ability to multitask while staying organized
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Positive customer service skills
  • Proficiency with technology and electronics strongly preferred
  • Experience in lighting and electrical
