Our client is the leading sustainability technology company for temperature-controlled facilities.  Since 2011, our client’s intelligent Thermal Energy Storage technology has helped our clients minimize energy use while better protecting food inside frozen food storage warehouses, supermarkets, and restaurants across the globe.  We are seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our team and tackle some of the world’s biggest energy and food challenges with our award-winning Thermal Energy Storage technology.

Position
Our client is seeking a high-performing Director of Sales to lead the sales team by developing and implementing key growth strategies and action plans.  The successful Director of Sales will exceed company client acquisition and revenue goals while leading sales team members to meet individual sales goals. The Director of Sales also oversees market research and consults on product pricing to fit client needs and achieve profit margin targets. 

Roles and Responsibilities
 
  • Build and lead the sales team to achieve company and individual goals by defining and implementing key growth sales strategies, generating, and executing Market Development Plans, enhancing sales processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Achieve company revenue goals by leveraging our existing Channel Partner network and further developing strategies to grow and support Channel Partner sales.
  • Build out the sales organization through effective networking and recruiting, fine tuning training, development, and mentorship programs, and set and hold the team accountable to individual and company goals.
  • Support and mentor sales team members to help them better identify and qualify sales leads, strengthen client engagement and relationships, and close sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop annual marketing plans, go to market strategies, sales collateral, and other sales support materials.  Provide regular market feedback to improve our marketing and branding efforts.
  • Design, implement, and manage a consistent process and methodology for sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting.
  • Expand adoption and effective use of Salesforce and implement KPIs that support meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Lead the development of a department culture that is consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and values and provide leadership that inspires the sales team to peak performance.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.  Participate in leadership, strategy, planning, and execution meetings to help lead the organization to greater success.

Skills and Experience
  • Candidates should have at minimum a bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or additional sales or leadership training is a plus
  • 7-10 years’ experience building and managing B2B sales teams, preferably in a related industry
  • Strong track record of success in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Strong experience with consultative solutions sales and posses the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships.
  • Language/Job Skills:
    • Excellent English and written communication skills.
  • Computer Skills:
    • Microsoft office proficiency using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Salesforce CRM
