Sales Engineer - Lighting

Job Summary - 
Oversee and be accountable for all sales engineering and technical solutions initiatives. Be an in-house technical expert and apply significant industry knowledge to improve service to our clients. Deliver specific functional and technical expertise, including optimizing lighting design, photometrics, control designing and commissioning, technical and financial analysis, etc.

- Provides technical direction for the development, design and systems integration for the client and assist internal team from proposal creation through implementation
- Understand scope and search for the most cost-effective solution to the customer without comprising value or integrity while maximizing service and margin.
- Collaborate with Purchaser and Sales to evaluate and understand the market price of LED products, control systems, etc. to maximize margin. (Ex: Cost per lumen, Controls ROI, etc.). Develop/run product trainings with vendors
- Assist on sales calls, as technical resource.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive building audits for proposal department proposal creation.
