Director of Electrical Construction

We’re looking for an Electrical Construction Leader to join our growing team. This position is responsible for oversight of our existing team, while also estimating and managing special projects in a manner that maximizes customer experiences, company profitability, and enhances the direct owner relationship. Leader would tasked with driving timely and correct estimates, while actively managing special projects in process and delivering them on time and budget are the measures of success for this position. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategy for growth and new customer/project Aquisition. 
  • Maintain core customer base through quality work and customer first mentality 
  • Account manage established existing accounts
  • Meet with customers to discuss project design needs
  • Provide pricing on new construction projects
  • Review RFP and qualify opportunities
  • Accurate estimating, including labor hours and material
  • Gather pricing from vendors
  • Create detailed proposal explaining scope and job details
  • Prospect new opportunities
  • Call on general contractors – Develop relationships
  • Work with service sales team on owner direct bids
  • Work cohesively with other company division including Mechanical and Plumbing. 
  • Integrate projects effectively across multiple disciplines
  • Work with operations team to explain job scope and conduct detailed turnover
  • Project manage awarded projects
  • Support electrical hiring needs and field staff 
Qualifications:
  • Electrical field experience preferred 
  • Design/Build estimating experience
  • Experience closing a minimum of $2M-4M in sales per year 
  • Selling techniques, prospecting, and closing sales
  • Experience working with team sizes between 6-15 
  • Experience managing minimum 3-5 multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience negotiating pricing and contracts with clients
  • Experience with communicating with senior management, field employees, and vendors
  • Bachelor degree preferred (or matched experience)
