Job Brief

If you’re passionate about building a team in a fast-paced and growing environment, you might be a perfect match for one of our Director of Channel Sales position. We are seeking professionals that are organized, energetic, and results driven. In this role, you will be responsible for:
 
  • Growing sales of our residential and light commercial product lines through dealer and distribution channel partners.
  • Driving adoption of Certified IAQ Contractor Program.
  • Responsibility for the US Territory Sales Management Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a strategic plan to meet and exceed Territory Sales Goals.
  • Provide product training and drive new product commercialization through the Dealer and Distribution networks.
  • Assist frontline sales representatives to overcome objections and close sales
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals in concert with company-wide objectives
  • Develop specific plans to ensure profitable growth both short and long-term
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the key channel partners.
  • Support Dealers, Distributors and TM’s during major meetings, conferences, trade shows, and key customer visits across your territory
  • Analyze performance; evaluate potential new partners and/or markets
  • Liaise and contribute with engineering, marketing, and operations for Initiatives.
 

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years sales management experience working with a multi-market/channel installed product.
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC products and systems with working knowledge of IAQ products
 
  • Thorough understanding of HVAC marketplace dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors’ offerings
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions and make informed decisions
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
  • Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Ability to travel an estimated 30-50% of the time.
 

Education:

 
  • Preferred: BS degree in engineering, BA is Business, MBA
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered.
