Overview:
Our client, a rapidly growing mechanical/controls contractor is looking for a Building Automation Controls Sales Representative in the El Paso market.
Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, and other proactive methods.

Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including facility managers, building owners, and contractors.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' requirements and challenges.

Solution Selling:
- Present and demonstrate our clients building automation products and services to clients.
- Experience with Siemens, JCI, Delta, KMC is a plus but not a requirement.
- Develop customized solutions that address clients' specific needs and contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability goals.

Quoting and Proposal Development:
- Prepare accurate and competitive project proposals.
- Work closely with the internal technical team to ensure proposals align with clients' expectations and project specifications.

Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure profitable business deals.
- Close sales and achieve revenue targets within assigned territories.

Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding market conditions and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the building automation, HVAC, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of building automation systems and technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
