As we continue to expand through strategic acquisitions, we are seeking a talented Director of Integration to lead the seamless integration of acquired entities into our organization.

Position Overview: The Director of Integration will play a critical role in driving the successful integration of acquired companies into this growing firm. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills to ensure the smooth transition of operations, systems, processes, and culture.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive integration strategies and plans for acquired companies, aligning with the overall business objectives and growth targets.
  2. Lead cross-functional integration teams, including representatives from finance, operations, HR, IT, legal, and other relevant departments, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the integration process.
  3. Assess the operational, financial, and cultural aspects of acquired companies to identify integration opportunities, synergies, and potential challenges.
  4. Establish clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables for each integration initiative, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful completion.
  5. Oversee the implementation of standardized processes, systems, and best practices across acquired entities to drive operational efficiency and consistency.
  6. Work closely with senior leadership to evaluate and mitigate risks associated with integration activities, and proactively address any issues or roadblocks.
  7. Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, employees, customers, and vendors, to provide updates on integration progress and address any concerns or questions.
  8. Lead change management efforts to facilitate a smooth transition for employees and foster a cohesive and collaborative organizational culture.
  9. Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost savings, and revenue growth through integration synergies and post-merger optimization.
  10. Drive post-integration performance tracking and analysis to measure the effectiveness of integration efforts and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  2. Proven track record of successfully leading integration initiatives within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in the construction or related industry.
  3. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  5. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
  6. Experience working with private equity-backed companies or in the mergers and acquisitions space is highly desirable.
  7. Knowledge of construction industry operations, processes, and best practices is a plus.
  8. Ability to travel as needed to support integration activities at various locations nationwide.
