Strategic Sales - Aquatics

The Strategic Sales position is responsible for building relationships with new and existing key customers, general contractors, developers, and municipalities to help drive design build and bid build opportunities for our construction and renovation divisions. In addition, this role is responsible for setting the strategic framework for national relationships while helping to drive specific initiatives into the individual regions.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies and lead regional sales efforts toward the achievement of company sales objectives.
  • Generate and submit proposals/quotes and related sales documents, collaborating with various internal teams to meet revenue goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide leadership and education to clients/prospects through effective communication of the company’s vision, core competencies and value add.
  • Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization that is “best in class.”
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts utilizing the company’s CRM software.
  • Maintain sales goals and take appropriate action to correct, when necessary, by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Partner with executive leaders to identify strategic accounts in the development of key customer relationship management.
  • Develop customer contracts and agreements that support the company’s financial goals.
  • Establish effective relationships and collaboration with other departments to address key business issues and opportunities.
  • Observe our operational execution to determine the quality-of-service vs customer expectations. Provide suggestions for improvement and support for teams where needed.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge in aquatics and understand customers’ needs through industry related meetings, seminars, and conferences.
