Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Development Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership on behalf of both the company and our clients while successfully developing and implementing energy efficiency and facility improvement projects, primarily through the guaranteed energy-savings contracting methodology. Successful candidate will work closely with our cross-functional development team in a leadership role at each phase of the project lifecycle to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and team-oriented individual that thrives on having the opportunity to directly influence individual and team growth in a distinctly non-corporate environment and on helping clients in a very relational market.

Provide professional and personal mentorship to the junior engineering team
Lead technical project development initiatives and provide strategic support and guidance to the entire development team
Work with the Senior Business Development Manager to develop project scopes and contract specifics in collaboration with the client
Work with the Senior Project Manager to direct project design and construction activities to ensure the quality of projects exceeds the requirements of the job
Work with the M+V Team to support ongoing project performances
Willingness to assist in other business-related activities which will support team growth and performance
Qualifications:
At least ten (10) years’ progressive experience in the energy engineering arena
Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited or equivalent engineering program
