Job Summary: The HVAC Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of HVAC products and services to home building contractors within the greater Sarasota region. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet their project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building and maintaining relationships, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential home building contractors to generate new business opportunities.
    • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our HVAC products, services, and solutions offered.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with home building contractors.
    • Understand contractors' needs and provide customized solutions to meet their HVAC requirements.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' products.
    • Gather and analyze market data to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
    • Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity.
  • Technical Knowledge and Expertise:
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of HVAC products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements in HVAC technology and energy-efficient solutions.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate and timely product information is provided to customers.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales (residential), preferably within the home building contractor market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Sarasota region.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant HVAC certifications or training is a plus.
