Project Development Engineer Lead

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Project Development Engineer to oversee and drive engineering projects from conception through execution. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client requirements.

  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.

  • Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure project specifications are met.

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Prepare and present technical documentation and project proposals to clients and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project development and management.

  • Proven leadership experience in engineering project management.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in project management software and engineering design tools.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.

  • Experience in ESCO or related energy efficiency work

  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green engineering.
