Our team is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee large-scale boiler retrofit projects for our commercial and industrial clients. This role requires a hands-on approach to project management, with a focus on construction and mechanical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough audits of mechanical and boiler systems
Develop project scopes that meet ROI and payback expectations, aligning with client and utility requirements.
Collaborate with utilities to ensure projects qualify for incentives.
Manage projects to achieve profitability goals.
Identify and coordinate comprehensive projects, leveraging necessary resources.
Partner with sales team to deliver client value.
Maintain a detail-oriented mindset to manage projects efficiently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
5-10 years experience in mechanical project management, specifically in construction environments
Strong understanding of boiler systems, mechanical contracting, and construction processes
Experience with utility inventive programs
Familiarity with the HVAC supply chain within the construction industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred:
Candidates from Massachusetts, Connecticut, or the broader New England area
A background in construction project management, not manufacturing or IT.
