Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects in Nashville, TN and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating project schedules, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading teams to deliver high-quality installations and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee HVAC projects from start to finish.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine scope and requirements.
- Communicate with clients, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
- Supervise installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks or delays.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports, cost estimates, and documentation.
- Assist with procurement and negotiation of materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in HVAC project management or a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.
- Certifications: PMP, OSHA 30, or HVAC-related certifications are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
- Understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and industry codes.
- Strong budgeting and financial management capabilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
