Energy & Controls RCx Project Manager

LOCATION: Andover MA-hybrid work from home-client sites primarily MA/NH/RI
JOB DESCRIPTION
They are looking for a motivated, early-career project manager who is passionate about energy efficiency and innovative solutions in HVAC, building controls, and recommissioning (RCx). If you’re excited about field work and data-driven investigations and diagnostics, followed by managing subcontractors implementing your recommendations while reducing site carbon emissions in pursuit of a sustainable future, this is the role for you!
As part of their collaborative, fast-paced team, you’ll work on high-impact existing building commissioning (EBCx) projects in university, commercial, healthcare, lab/pharma, and industrial facilities. This work involves hands-on investigation into how buildings operate, identifying opportunities to make them safer and more efficient, developing reports which prioritize and justify the recommended investments, obtaining utility incentives, creating turnkey proposals for implementing the recommendations, and then managing subcontractors in the implementation and verification phases of the project delivery.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· 5+ years working on supporting the analysis, development, and implementation of HVAC, controls, testing adjusting and balancing (TAB), and energy efficiency / re-commissioning (RCx) projects.
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required.
· Interest in data mining and large-scale BAS trend analysis for identifying energy savings.
· Mastery in spreadsheet-based HVAC, energy, and economic analysis of energy efficiency measures
· Working with contractors and vendors in developing project cost estimates
· Excellence in written and oral communications for day-to-day client interaction and report writing.
· Past project and client management experience
