Sales Representative - ESCO

Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Representative experienced in lighting and electrical solutions to expand our partnerships with ESCOs, contractors, and project developers in the commercial, industrial, educational, and municipal sectors. This role focuses on identifying subcontracting opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through high-performance energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with ESCOs, general contractors, project managers, and energy service providers to secure subcontracting opportunities.
  • Identify new projects requiring lighting, electrical, and EV charging installations and position our firm as the preferred execution partner.
  • Work closely with engineers and project managers to scope, estimate, and propose customized solutions aligned with project needs.
  • Present the advantages of working with our firm, including expertise, cost-efficiency, and seamless project execution.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, energy regulations, utility rebate programs, and emerging technologies in lighting, electrical, and EV infrastructure.
  • Manage the sales process from initial outreach to contract negotiation and project award.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in lighting and electrical solutions is required (minimum 3+ years).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of ESCO partnerships, subcontracting models, and performance contracting.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, project developers, and energy service firms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel in order to evaluate projects, meet with partners, and tradeshows.
