Project Manager – Healthcare Construction

The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of turnkey projects for many of the world’s largest healthcare providers. This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of project results throughout the entire project life cycle, including planning, initiation, execution, and closure. The right candidate will be skilled at managing multiple projects at once, often facing unexpected challenges and shifting priorities, while maintaining direct and consistent contact with the company’s most important customers. Key Responsibilities
• Ownership and accountability for the entire project life cycle, including but not limited to project planning, client engagement, team leadership with direct report responsibilities, product selection, permitting, installation, and logistics.
• Clear, consistent, disciplined communication with all stakeholders, including but not limited to the internal team and management, property managers, building owners, building engineers, manufacturers, and vendors.
o Continuous project planning, reporting, and status updates.
• Interviewing, assessing, hiring, and onboarding project foremen and technicians.
o Leading, mentoring, and serving our teams.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and managing technical and non-technical challenges
o Displaying, enforcing, and promoting standards of quality, safety, productivity, and
professionalism. Documenting policy violations, incidents, and discipline systematically
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Other duties as assigned:
o Extreme Ownership – The Project Manager is responsible not only for the things they directly control, but also for all those that affect whether their project is successful.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 5+ years of experience leading construction teams with direct report responsibilities
o Bonus points for experience managing lighting, electrical, or LED retrofits
• Experience completing construction projects in healthcare environments
• Polished, professional leader with experience building trust with customers
• Experienced in planning operations in active healthcare settings or equally complex
operational environments
o Must be detail-oriented and disciplined
• Willing to travel consistently to provide leadership on the ground and ensure teams are
well supported
o Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, may require extended on-site project management to ensure a successful project execution
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, iOS applications, Bluebeam
• Four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
o Bonus points for obtaining a PMP Certification
