Position Title: Lead Energy Engineer
Location: New Jersey (must currently reside in NJ)
Employment Type: Full‑time, Hybrid
License Requirement: Valid NJ driver’s license

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Energy Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience, strong technical competency, and the ability to lead projects from auditing through implementation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute ASHRAE Level I–III energy audits.
- Conduct on‑site inspections, data collection, and measurement & verification.
- Develop detailed engineering analyses and ECM calculations.
- Provide design support and review technical drawings.
- Coordinate project activities with clients and contractors.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Must reside in New Jersey.
- Valid NJ driver's license.
- Strong knowledge of building mechanical, electrical and controls’ systems and energy codes.

Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) preferred.
- Experience with eQUEST, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crawl during site inspections.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Visual acuity for detailed inspection work.

- Hybrid office/remote/field.
- Exposure to mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and construction environments.
