Overview:
Our client is a very well-established consulting engineering firm that is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team within the San Diego market!  
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Collaborate and mentor junior engineers to design the mechanical and plumbing components of energy-efficient buildings
• Knowledge of building life safety, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire, codes including ICC Standards, NFPA, FM Global, and Federal Standards 
• Management of multi-discipline teams
• Preparation of calculations, reports, specifications, and presentations
• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings

Requirements:

• 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the built environment industry
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering 
• P.E. or EIT preferred
• AutoCAD & REVIT experience
