Energy Consultant (Sales)

Title: Energy Consultant (Sales)
Location: Charlotte, NC (preferred) 

General Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new opportunities within the territory for our products and services utilizing online tools and Company leads
- Perform field surveys and project estimates using Company provided sales tools
- Develop and present proposals using financial-based decision analytics
- Achieve quarterly sales targets and increase market penetration within area
- Attend regularly scheduled training sessions and regional sales meetings o - Develop and grow relationships with partners to generate sales leads
- Maintain relationships with customers to generate future sales         
- Comprehensive knowledge and implementation of our Sales Process 
- Conceptual (non-product specific) selling experience to C-level buyers
- Strategic planning and organization: detail-oriented thinking
- Self-motivated: able to take an idea and see it through to completion
- Team player: able to work well with others to accomplish shared goals
- Computer skills: proficient working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, web search tools, and CRM
- Working knowledge of basic financial analysis (ROI, cash flow, IRR, etc.)
- Moderate travel required 
Additional skills desired but not required: 
- Energy management experience (demand side technologies) o
- Electrical or mechanical building system experience o HVAC, building controls, or lighting system knowledge
