HVAC Services Estimator
Arlington Heights, IllinoisResponsibilities & Duties:
- Pursuing bid opportunities for a professional HVAC testing, and balancing contractor
- Reviewing detailed HVAC plans and specifications and prepare bids for HVAC testing and balancing
- Reviewing client bid lists/ftp sites, create bid list and bid files, track addendums & RFI's
- Preparing and sending proposals to multiple clients in a time critical environment
- Following up with clients for current project documents and equipment submittals for awarded projects
- Creating job folders with all relevant project information for field technician use
- 5+ years HVAC estimating, drafting and/or project management experience
- Receptivity to working for a unique, quality oriented and faith-based business
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to read HVAC ventilation & piping plans and project specifications
- Excellent math, writing and communication skills
- Ability to follow instruction, desire to learn
- Positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task and chance course rapidly
