The Strategic Energy Solutions Sales Manager is a subject matter expert and “hunter” of sales for facilities as a service product offering. The Energy as a Service product is a technology-based financing offering that funds energy efficiency and resiliency (ensuring reliable energy supply) projects for business customers. Building systems include HVAC, Lighting, Building Controls, Energy Storage and Backup, the Sales Manager owns the sales process and works with the account management teams to sell new solutions to current and new relationships within a customer’s organization. Coordinate internal stakeholders, including support, engineering, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Work with customers and other sales channels to prospect, identify, develop, optimize, price, negotiate, and close large commercial and industrial energy related projects including microgrids, backup generation, energy storage, and renewable energy implementations.
Collaborate with business partners to understand issues, industry developments, competitors, market factors, pricing strategies, value proposition, etc. and make sales proposals.
Develop, manage, and forecast sales to achieve or exceed quota for specific targeted programs.
Provide customer feedback to help develop new, innovative solutions and achieve exemplary customer experiences.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years of industry-related sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High technical aptitude.
Demonstrated ability to execute sales plans for large projects with a total contract value of $5M or more.
Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with and present to customers to drive major projects.

Self-starter who works well in fast-paced environment.
