Position Summary:
This Proposal Writer supports sales, engineering and design teams for lighting, HVAC, and renewable energy projects for commercial and industrial national customers.
The ideal candidate must be able to bridge technical and financial skills with marketing and communication.
The ideal candidate should bring expertise in construction, energy efficiency or sustainability.
The proposal manager will lead proposal response team through bidding process (RFI, RFQ, etc.)
Proposal Manager will also manage the request and reception of response material from internal team, resources from other international offices, and partner companies.

- Ability to create professional presentations portraying company as subject matter experts in commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects.
- Ability to utilize and become expert in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors' Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with including strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office with strong PowerPoint skills
- A high sense of urgency, strong initiative and the ability to multi-task
- Strong planning and project management skills, including high level of personal adaptability to work with a wide range of personalities
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- The ability to work overtime and/or after hours as needed to meet the needs of the business
- A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to learn quickly with limited instruction
- Experience with Revit, LUX, or AGI 32 (preferred)
