Overview:
Our Client, a respected, and well-known full-service design-build mechanical contractor is experiencing significant growth and is looking to add an HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to their growing team within the Minnesota market.
Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
- Review project specifications and technical drawings to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, and subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to enhance team performance.
- Conduct regular meetings to update the team on project progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare detailed project budgets and monitor expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project financials.
- Ensure all work is performed within the allocated budget constraints.

Quality Control and Safety:
- Implement and enforce industry best practices, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and regulations.
- Proactively address any safety concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.

Client Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and promptly addressing any issues that may arise.

Contract Administration:
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met, and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise during the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the HVAC and plumbing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
