Overview:
Our Client, a respected, and well-known full-service design-build mechanical contractor is experiencing significant growth and is looking to add an HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to their growing team within the Minnesota market. 

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

   • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
   • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
   • Review project specifications and technical drawings to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.

2. Team Leadership:

   • Lead and motivate project teams, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, and subcontractors.
   • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to enhance team performance.
   • Conduct regular meetings to update the team on project progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.

3. Budget and Cost Management:

   • Prepare detailed project budgets and monitor expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project financials.
   • Ensure all work is performed within the allocated budget constraints.

4. Quality Control and Safety:

   • Implement and enforce industry best practices, quality standards, and safety protocols.
   • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and regulations.
   • Proactively address any safety concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.

5. Client Communication:

   • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
   • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and promptly addressing any issues that may arise.

6. Contract Administration:

   • Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
   • Ensure all contractual obligations are met, and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise during the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management within the HVAC and plumbing industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
