Our client is an established facility solutions-based construction and engineering firm and is currently seeking a Site Superintendent to support their growing team within the Philadelphia market.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
Schedule and Resource Management:
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project delivery.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to allocate resources effectively.
Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any construction deficiencies promptly.
Safety Oversight:
Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and motivate on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, resolving conflicts and ensuring effective communication.
Client Communication:
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
Ensure client satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality work and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Site Superintendent in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
