Overview: Our client is a Global Electrical Distributor and is seeking an energy storage specialist who will be responsible for developing market strategy and executing energy storage sales through multiple channels.
Material cost, software cost, performance, insurance, market share, application
Develop internal content for training tools
Promote to utilities and other state program/incentives
Individual should be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to work independently, target new business, follow up on sales leads, and close the sale
Individual should be comfortable calling on and presenting to persons from senior level executives down to field level operatives
Understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
Sell the economic, energy and environmental savings that and its products provide
Source leads in order to expand the sales portfolio
Foster client trust as an energy savings expert by selling the cost savings of the solutions that reflects the clients return on investment (ROI)
Prepare and provide detailed cost and savings projections along with ROI scenarios that include simple payback, net present value, ROI, and life cycle cost analyses
Present a post-implementation energy cost and savings summary
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications
Experience Qualifications:
3+ years related energy storage experience
Candidate must have a strong understanding of the market (utility programs, incentives, state funding)
Must have a knowledge of how the products are getting delivered to the market currently
Requires excellent presentation/public speaking, time management and organizational skills
Experience selling to energy services companies, contractors, end users, and energy storage as a service
Ability to work and travel throughout state/region
