PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
 Understand client needs and ensure they are maintained during scope development and in final documentation
 Establish reasonable client expectations, be honest and forthright with the client and internal management staff on all aspects of the project being delivered.
 Develop project scope, budget and schedule and manage through the development process.
 Adherence to approved business development process steps; ensure key milestones, deliverables, and necessary process tasks are consistently achieved.
 Ability to close on project by discerning which issues require detail and which issues are not required.
 Understand and mitigate risk exposure regarding construction cost, energy savings expectations/guarantees, and litigation exposure.

APPLICATION ENGINEERING
 Support and work closely with SME/solution architect on new and ongoing projects – understand goals and objectives for the project and ensure these are maintained/achieved as the detailed design is complete. 
 Complete detailed design of custom unitary controls.   Identify any technical issues which arise for proactive management by project manager and solution architect. 
 Produce artifacts as necessary for bidding and implementation of the design. 
 Support and respond to technical questions to support the solution internally and externally.  Evaluate technical add alternates when submitted by the client. 
 Assist in qualifying subcontractor bids for compliance with the design. 
 Evaluate new solutions and give input on feasibility, architectural robustness and reusability for other industry opportunities.
