CFO We are seeking a dynamic leader who will play a key role in the development of corporate strategy and the implementation of innovative financing structures that catalyze the growth and drive the profitability of Company’ sustainable energy financing platform. The successful candidate will have a track record of developing and closing structured finance deals, preferably in the energy efficiency or renewable energy sector.
This individual can be based anywhere in the U.S. that is accessible for travel to Company’ headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Reporting directly to the CEO, they will immediately take on a diverse set of strategic and operational roles, including:
Identifying and implementing innovative financial structures that optimize the profitability of Company’ energy efficiency and renewable energy project investments
Optimizing Company’ debt capital funding strategy, including identifying and closing additional sources of debt, as appropriate
Identifying and implementing project equity funding strategies
Leading corporate fundraising, budgeting and cash forecasting activities
Managing corporate-level accounting and overseeing the preparation of financial and tax information
Providing key contributions to deal closings, corporate strategy and the development of new financing products

Experience & Qualifications The successful individual will need to demonstrate:
Strong structured and project finance skills; experience as a CFO is not explicitly required
Strong attention to detail and ability to own and operate project and corporate- level financial models
Track record of closing structured finance deals and arranging third-party financing, ideally within the energy efficiency and renewable energy investment community
Strategic and creative thinking abilities, which will bring insight and innovation to the company’s operations and financing solutions
Exceptional communications and strong interpersonal skills to help serve as Company’ representative in a wide range of investor, customer and partner discussions
Strong leadership and management skills including the ability to lead indirectly (i.e., get things done by collaborating and working effectively with other internal and external parties.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with a MBA, MA, and/or CPA preferred
