Account Manager - Federal Sales

Bothell, Washington

Job Description:

As a Federal  Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling the company's products and services to the federal government's Department of Defense (DoD) in Seattle. You will work closely with the DoD to understand their needs and provide them with customized solutions that meet their requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers within the DoD
  • Conducting research to stay up-to-date with the DoD's procurement processes, priorities, and budget
  • Collaborating with our internal teams to develop proposals and presentations tailored to the DoD's requirements
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet sales targets
  • Providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably with the federal government
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Security clearance and knowledge of DoD procurement processes preferred
