Lead System Specialist

Overview:
Our Client, a respected, and well-known systems integrator is experiencing significant growth during these unprecedented times and is looking to add an HVAC Controls specialist to their growing team. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site support to the local Tucson office, handling service calls, and overseeing New/Retrofit Controls Installations.
  2. Serve as the subject matter expert for Open+ and Alerton/Siemens integrations across the region, offering guidance and technical expertise.
  3. Dedicate a significant portion of your time to training and mentoring teams in regional offices to enhance their technical capabilities and performance.
  4. Contribute to the growth of our truly open platform by ensuring smooth integration with other building systems, making energy savings and visualization accessible to customers.
  5. Support high-level programming efforts to effectively communicate our offerings and value proposition, assisting in securing new business opportunities.
  6. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all products we offer, creating persuasive presentations to entice customers to switch to our open solution.
  7. Foster strong alliances and relationships with equipment manufacturers to facilitate seamless integration with our platform.
  8. Lead training sessions for technicians on applications, programming, and implementation of our products.
  9. Act as a technical resource for product research and development, contributing insights into Open+ and new solutions.
  10. Assist in commissioning and startup activities at the project level, ensuring smooth system deployment and functionality.
  11. Develop programming and implementation standards to maintain consistency across our controls offerings.
  12. Implement sequences that meet design criteria and contribute to the achievement of energy efficiency goals.
  13. Become an expert in the integration of our OPEN+ Solution, providing comprehensive guidance and support to customers and internal teams.
  14. Continuously undergo training and certification to stay up-to-date with the products we represent and maintain compliance with dealer agreements.
  15. Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvements in products and systems, contributing to R&D efforts.
  16. Strive for excellence in all aspects of the role, representing our company as a knowledgeable and reliable resource for building controls integration.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Extensive experience in building controls and integration, with a strong focus on Open+ and Alerton/Siemens systems.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in programming and implementation of building control solutions.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to mentor and train teams effectively.
  5. Proven track record of successful project commissioning and startup.
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for staying current with industry advancements.
  7. Certifications in relevant products and technologies are desirable.
  8. Ability to travel as needed to support regional offices and project locations
