Our client has a fantastic opportunity for you to join the team as the Lead Mechanical Engineer. They have a patented HVAC chilled water dehumidification solution that has enormous market benefits for hot and humid climates or customers with humidity challenges and industry requirements.
They are looking for a new team member who understands the details of the problems, from both the technical and process aspects, who desires to serve the needs of our customers, and understands how to develop a plan to execute bridging the gaps to deliver solutions. Field investigation, testing, and tuning the system are critical to help our customers maximize their HVAC operations.

Position Details/Responsibilities:
Analyze potential new project applications by reviewing plans of existing facilities, mechanical schedules and other information to determine concept designs, constraints, and initial cost estimating of product application.
Managing dehumidification system product design, selection, and application work, encompassing both new construction and existing building retrofit opportunities, spanning early conceptual design through procurement, implementation, and commissioning.
Performing field investigation and testing to support discovery of existing conditions for product application and to support product startup and commissioning.
Support technical sales meetings to include the overview of the product technology, performance, and application parameters. Lead potential client technical briefs and attend market outreach events as required. Participate & lead the technical presentations for webinars, lunch and learns, and in-person meetings for End-Users, General Contractors, Mechanical Contractors, Energy Services Companies (ESCOs), and Industry Associations.
Advancing the Advanced Dehumidification Airstream Pretreatment Technology (ADAPT™) product design based on feedback from the field and new technology advances.
Advancing our design and application analysis tools to further streamline and strengthen our processes.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
7-10 years of experience within the HVAC design, commissioning, and product application industry including a combination of the following:
5 years of HVAC design or design peer review experience
2 years of in field implementation support including commissioning
Professional Engineering - Mechanical
Expertise with Energy Modeling using excel spreadsheet modeling format.
Entrepreneurial spirit in bringing innovation into the marketplace.
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven track record of building collaboration within teams to solve complex problems.
Demonstrated expertise in managing technical submittals, manufacturing support, and start up and commissioning to drive performance and provide value to the client.
Significant experience with proposal development including client interaction, effort estimation, and proposal authoring.
Demonstrated excellence in troubleshooting high performance HVAC systems.
Demonstrated excellence in field commissioning of HVAC systems.
HVAC system performance monitoring and adjusting experience a plus.
Coil Design and coil performance evaluation experience a plus.
Manufacturing Engineering experience with AHU (Sheet metal, Coil, Assembly) a plus.
Experience with the procurement of controls systems including development of design documents.
