Our client is searching for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team of high-performing professionals and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The CFO will have a day to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist will not only understand current accounting practices and trends but will also have treasury management experience and the ability to adapt to change. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company. Key responsibilities include:
Managing and overseeing accounting, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
Developing and implementing financial strategies that support our growth objectives.
Collaborating with the executive team to develop and execute financial plans aligned with ourstrategic goals.
Providing timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
Managing cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures to ensure financial health.
Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, includinginvestors and lenders, customers, and coworkers.
Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and compliance procedures.
Hiring, training, managing, and developing a high-performing finance team.
Experience working with public company ownership of joint venture – parent reporting requirement
Evaluate and recommend strategies for capital structure, funding, and financial risk management.
Participate on the firm’s leadership team to ensure fiscal responsibility and support financial andfirmwide strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives while maintaining financialintegrity and transparency.
QUALIFICATIONS To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including high-growth environments.
Experience working with OEMs in the construction, HVAC or related industries is preferred
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing finance teams.
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Experience working with investors and lenders.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV) experience preferred
